Conecting 2 computers (no internet ok)?

i have 2 computers. i used 2 computers just with the network cable.

right now one of the computers alow me to share a folder and appear on this computer microsoft network. but the other computer does not alow me to share a folder... it says: The Server service is not started... 8( . i have tried to set up a new connection but no luck...

can anybody help??

Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Services.

Go to Server and Start the service.
