Laptops or computers?

I want to buy a cheaper computer. It doesnt matter if it's a laptop or a desk computer. As long as they are both equal in quality and up-to-date internet browers and large storage for music, photos, and videos.

I see that computers are cheaper than laptops. Is it because laptops are portable? sO IS BUYING THE HEAVY COMPUTER BETTER?

If you need mobility (ie, business trips, vacations, etc.) then you should go with a good laptop. Otherwise, you should go with a desktop.

if you paid $2000 for a laptop and $2000 for a desktop you will get more computer for your money with a desktop.
Yes laptop more $$$ due to portable parts, if you don't need to have portable then a desktop computer is better.
Unless you absolutely need to take your computer with you, you should buy a desktop. They are cheaper to buy, fix and upgrade. The only real advantage the laptop gives you is portability.
Portability, if you need to take the computer to places, then buy laptop, else desktop
