Workgroup computers can not to be access?

Ok I have my network setup and everything and there are 4 computers in the network and my router is a wired/wireless router and in the workgroup or network i can see all 4 computers but i can only explore one of the computer and when i try to click on another computer on the workgroup it will say "\\(computername) is not accessible. You might not have the permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions." Also below that it will say "The network path was not found." So the only thing I can do is to share files with only one computer and that computer can only access my computer and share files with me. I have Windows XP Sp2. Will greatly appreciate the help

im pretty sur its firewall. If your useing windows firewall, go to firewall in control panel, click on exceptions tab and make sure file and printer shareing is clicked. If you use some other firewall, try things out (i.e. change firewall highth settings)

Sounds like a windows firewall issue. Click Start run and type in cmd and hit enter. See uif you can ping the machine name example - ping computername . If you cannot ping the machine then find out why that is - firewall, est est . I bet you will be able to ping the machine name that you CAN access...
Run the network setup wizard on all four computers, found at start, settings, control panel, network connections, network setup wizard. Make sure network workgroup is same, computer names are different. Make sure in "My Computer" for each computer, at least one file or directory is shared. Right click on that directory, click on properties, and then sharing.
