Computers in 2018...?

I am writing an essay on how computers will affect our lifestyle in 2018 (10 years from now) and whether they will, on balance, be a threat or a benefit to us.

How would you aproach this question, I mean do you think the way computers affect our lifestyle now will be any different from the way it will do in 10 years from now? And how do we even know for sure that in 10 years from now we will use computers? maybe something will have happened before then and all computer systems and network will be down I mean how the hell am I supposed to predict that? good websites and quotes will be great, thanks.

From the trend as I see now, much of the things would be computerized in 2018, more parts in the world will be computerized

I will not say it's a threat to our lifestyle, but i just wonder has computer inhibited interpersonal communications and interactions? I mean, with compture, there's a lot of things we can do just by a few clicks, we dont have to do them in person. computers do all the tasks, and you know we will see less people. All we have to do is sit back and watch the monitor.

I believe computers will control our security, temperature and other household items in our houses.
Computers are already important part of our lives already and i only can assume that it will be even more important 10 years time. Computers may even be used for producing micro-bots to combat virus linked diseases or destroying unwanted cells in the body etc.. by inserting the micro-bots in the body. The essay obviously wants you to assume what will happen in comparison to how important computers to us are today. I
They will never become a threat because of the restrictive legislations that will occur. The infrastructures of many countries will need to undergo radical upgrading to get any kind of speed out of the overburdened internet and microsoft will still make bloatware....
Computers will continue to impact our lifestyle and to a greater degree then before.
