Multiple computers on Comcast cable?

I currently have one computer hooked up to the internet using Comcast cable, but I actually have 3 computers (2 regular and 1 laptop). I want to have internet access for the laptop and both computers. What's the best way to do this? Router? Wireless? Also if all are in use at the same time is it going to kill my connection speed?

In case it matters, all rooms where the computers are have a cable connection for TV which is how my main computer is connected.

unless youre running a download that is close to your maximum internet speed, it won't affect your connection too much (browsing the web won't slow down unless youre on dial up, which you aren't). I would say router is your best option. the two desktops are close enough to hardwire them to the router, but I would suggest a router with wireless, because the whole point of a laptop is mobility, and that is kind of ruined if it is plugged into the router all the time (and plugging/unplugging the ethernet cables all the time will ruin the connectors)

Like the previous answers before me, get a wireless router. You may notice a difference in speed if all 3 computers were watching videos on the internet at the same time, but other than that, it shouldn't slow down the connection.
Yes, you will be needing a wireless router. Using all the machines at the same time won't effect your connection that much, but it's also dependent on what applications you're running, and how much bandwidth is being used.
A router is the easiest, wireless is your preference.
