Networking two computers for sharing dial up network for internet.?

Hello



I have two computers using the MS XP operating system and are on a LAN.



Computer named Paul is the main computer which has a modem for connecting to the Internet using dial-up-network.



How do I connect Computer named Eric to connect to the internet for browsing using the modem of Paul.



I am using Internet Explorer 6 and Paul connects through a phone line using a dial up modem.



The two computers are in the same building.



Plaese help.

you need to connect both together using a network cable, which will need to be cross-over unless you also have a network switch. Run the network setup wizard on the connected machine, and set up internet connection sharing oon it's modem. Do not use the disk when offered, it does not work well. Run the network wizard on the second machine, set the same workgroup as the other one, then tell the wizard to connect to the internet through another machine.
