One computer is XP and the other one is a 89. I used the wizard to set up both computers. One is the Host and the other is the guest. The cord is pluged into both computers and I restarted both computers. Both computers have the parallel cord puged into the same place. Somehow it still isn't working what could I be missing.

The cable MUST be a crossed cable, which is slightly diffrent from a regular parallel cable.
