my computer is a compaq presario SR1603WM. its technical specifications is 1.7GB of RAM, it sports a AMD Sempron processor that is clocked at 1.8GHz, my graphics card is a ATI Radeon Xpress 200 with i don't know either 256MB or 512MB VRAM, and has at least a 500FSB clock speed. my monitor can also support a max resolution of 1580xsomething but anyway i have a couple of older games such as Battlefield 2 and SWAT but i can't run them on MED or HIGH settings without some lag or slowing of the computer involved, i know alot about computers and cleared my computer of old files, i check for viruses, cleared out my recycle bin, i go through disk cleanup and disk defragment......
everything, does anyone know about anything or a problem that could incure, i don't think it is spyware cause i cleaned that off. is it my processor or graphics card, both my graphics and sound card are integrated but pose no problem. they could be the problem, i don't know i just some ideas plz

it's your video card. onboard video is bad for games. see if your pci-e slot is x16 and get an nvidia Ge Force 7900 card

wipe save all your important data on a backup then wipe your computer clean so nothing exists on your hard drive
