ok i have recently linked two computers to gether using the new nortan, and now when i go to network the other laptop thats on line i can connect to BUT, i need a user and a pass, these are both my laptops but i dont no where to find the user and pass to connect the computers? WHERE DO I FIND BOTH OF THEM (user and pass) by the way one computers vista and the other XP i am trying to connects to the XP computer through vista if this will make any diffrence........

try to run network and setup wizard... and enable file and printer sharing on both of your pc... i think that will solve it...

bro i is asking password becoz you didn't share any drive yet
go to my computer then right click on anydrive and share that
then i'll not ask any user name and pass to you
It should just be the user log in details on the machine you are connecting to. :)
