I maent to say 'Destruction', but I didn't have enough letters to work with. I know that nested loops are what causes computers to be so slow, but I also think that we waste so much time on computers that it may just be that they are trying to draw time out of us. What I think is that we abuse our machines and any computer intellegence whenever it is developed would have a resentment.
If computers can make military like decisions quickly yet work so slow could they be secretly planing our doomfree spyware remover
Artificial intelligence, despite the fact that the people who do complex programming adopted the sexier name, does not yet exist.
That, of course, means that however it may seem, it is we ourselves who are planning our doom!
(Much of that is being done by large companies who have figured out that the best way to market more computers and more software is to make the software as inefficient and bloated as possible.)
(I suppose I've just identified myself as an efficiency-minded hacker.)
If computers can make military like decisions quickly yet work so slow could they be secretly planing our doomktm
Skynet went on-line on Monday, August 4th, 1997 and became self aware at 2:14 a.m. August 29th, 1997.
Looks like it's already started. Hasta la vista, baby.
You should ask HAL
If the military relies too much on computers that have any sort of connection to the net, they will always run the risk of getting hacked.
other than that, i cant see how it would cause destruction if its unable to get hacked, usually they dont run slow.
