Multiple computers on dial-up?

My room mate and I love to use the internet 24/7 and we have dial-up because that's all that's available here. We both have our own computers but with dial-up only one computer is allowed to be connected at a time. It's caused confrontations becase we both want to be on it A LOT but we can't.

Is there something I could download/do that would allow a computer to ignore the fact someone is already connected so we both can be connected at the same time?

Please help!

EDIT: We can't get another phone line, so that's out of the question.

You won't be able to have both computers dialing in on the same line to the same account, but you could network the two computers together, and have one use the internet connection of the other.

Of course, with dialup this is going to be slow, but you probably already know that :)
