i need to reccommend different computers to my boss... ones that are going to be good for the workplace and 2 of ours now keep crashing... i dont know if it would be best to upgrade all the computers or just get new ones as the ones we have are pretty old anyways. i gotta have a comparison of prices, and weather upgrading or buying new computers will be accommodated within the budget... i have no idea how much these things cost!!! i have to have the report written up by wednesday!!! any suggestions... software is no issue.. i need help... oh and i need help in starting off the report lol.. i cant think of an opening sentance at all!!!!!!!!!!!!! arrgghh!!!

If its desktop you are looking for, then maybe DELL would be good...its reasonably priced and can give longer lifetime. I have one at home and it's working superbly. If its laptop, then go for some light weight dell or mac ones. I would not recommend Sony vaio...its expensive and two of the people I know bought one both of them have crashed within 2 years of purchase! Go for something that is durable and reliable for a long time.
First you need to decide how the computers will be used. That will decide how to configure the computers. If they are primarily used for word processing, a lot of power and high graphics capability isn't needed.
You might look at something like iMacs, which are self-contained, ready for networking and have the capability of running Windows in addition to the Mac OS.
