Can Norton's be installed on multiple home computers?

I recently bought a new computer, and bought the most recent version of Norton's Antivirus for that computer. I also have an older computer that runs Norton's Antivirus 2003.

Could Norton's be installed on the older computer? If so, how does the subscription for LiveUpdate "work" with both computers, especially once the subscription needs to be renewed?

Also, if the newest Norton's can be installed on the older computer, do I need to uninstall Norton's Antivirus 2003 first, or would the newest version automatically uninstall it?

I know that, generally, you can install programs on multiple home computers, but I just don't know how LiveUpdate would "react" to this.

no. Norton will not let you update the second computer. next time you should buy the Norton package with the multiple licenses. its more expensive but then you can install it on multiple computers.

and yes, if you install a new copy of Norton with one that has an older version, then the new copy will delete it as it is being installed.

If you had to active Norton or enter a product key or anything like that during installation then it can only be used on one machine. You will know far in advance before the live update that you would not be able to run more then one license of norton.
yae it works i just got norton on my 2003 dell pentium 4
I think so.
