Computers are taking away from literary skills. How can we solve this?

Again, computers in schools are taking away from the needed literary skills. Does anyone have a solution? I have found a few, such as:

*Complete new crop of learning software

*Use computers only during recess or relaxation periods.

Both of these ideas are great, but I am also looking at middle and high school students affected by this.

This is for a Problem-Solution Essay, and I am stuck. Help!

Only give really old computers to schools so students can't do crap with them.
