English computers?

hi. i am from america and i was just wondering if english computers (like computers from england) have a dollar sign on the keyboard cuz like, in america we have the dollar sign on our #4 button on the keyboard but in england do they replace the $ sign with the pound sign like for british money? also, how come american computer keyboards don't have a cent sign? like the little c with a line thru it? just wondering.....

Yes, English computers do have a dollar sign, via Shift + Number 4 key ($); and the UK Pound sign is via Shift + Number 3 key (拢).

With the use of Alt.Gr + Number 4 keys we can even get the Euro sign! ( 鈧?)

But we don't have the cent symbol either (but you'd expect that, of course).

Hope that helps.

Yes, they make special keyboards for different countries. Japanese, Chinese and Korean keyboards are especially difficult.

The Brits don't use # for their money, they use 拢

CENTS? There is no profit in that. I can't wait until they eliminate all of that useless coin stuff.
