Alienware computers?

I'm looking to spend about 拢1200 on a new desktop computer. Alienware computers look very snazzy, but are they any good? Good performance for money etc? Mainly used for internet and games.

Someone also mentioned that Mesh computers are worth looking at.

Cyberpowerpc.com is a pretty good site to check out. You can completely customize a PC to your specs and they'll build it for you. My brother just recieved a pretty beefy gaming PC for about $1200.

alienware specializes in high-end gaming computers so you can't go wrong if you have deep pockets .
I think Alienware are over priced. Evesham and Mesh have always competively beat Alienware.
No. Buying from Alienware is getting ripped off. You will be paying more for the name rather than the desktop. A good company to consider is Carbonfrost Systems. I can speak from experience when I say they have the best warranty and service. They will literally build it to whatever you want while keeping the price low.

Look at thier defender series, gaming computers.

They will send you an invoice detailing all the exact parts that they used. Try building that yourself on newegg and it will come out to be a lot more expensive. They also have alot of models so you can decide whatever you want and then call in for fine tuning or tell them what you want and they will give you a cheap quote.
