can i hook up 2 computer with ether usb cable inside data cable or modem phone line and have only the 1 computer usable on 1 screen so the one computer that works uses the procesor the ram and other things and give it morre speed and such i herd that a colledge hooked up like 20 computers and made a realey good fast speed computer

Technically what you want to do is called parallel processing and its possible but not in the way you described. The only way i've seen it done requires special hardware installed on all linked computers which allows IO and data sharing. Parallel computers are excellent at crunching number like in large mathmatical calculations but the benefits would not be as apparant for a casual user. Its not practical for home use
