Is it safe for computers to have parts from 3 different companies?

hi, i have a computer that has an lg screen, an acer keyboard, and an hp harddrive. the lg screen, and the acer keyboard were from the same computer, ( Windows Vista) but i forgot my password. I disconnected the hard drive from my windows vista computer, and replaced it with an hp hard drive from a previous computer that used windows xp. So is it safe for computers to have parts from 3 different companies?

Absolutely. I'm writing this from a Gateway PC with a Dell keyboard, a Gateway mouse, emachines speakers, and a KDS monitor. Like the old commercial goes, "parts is parts".

its totally fine, they just have to be compatible with each other.
all the different computer hardware parts are made in compatibility with some standards. so if your hardware are compatible with the same standard there is no problem. in your case Keyboard and Screen are not such hardware that makes problem with compatibility. so be sure that there will not be a problem.
perfectly fine, this is normal.
No two parts in mine are from the same company. I built it myself, and it works great.
this one has 5 different system parts inside alone
Yes,

Most of the parts from a computer are made by different vendors anyway.
Yep, my toshiba laptop comes with a pioneer dvd-rw drive
All computers are made from parts from all over the world. So no problem.

Why not. That is what drivers were made for. Plus, not everyone has microsoft everything. Its really not necessary.
