Which field of computers?

my son is 15 years old and has aspergers syndrome.(which for him, the biggest problem is social awkwardness) he is obsessed by computers and has been since he was about 4. he is now a sophomore in high school and we are discussing with him career ideas and options for schooling.i asked him what he loves most about computers and he said he likes to create. he said he would be most interested in game designing or web design. he is incredibly creative and artistic.( i am an artist as well)

the question i have is, knowing that he is not very social, but is very creative and computer savvy, which would be a good avenue for him to steer toward in the computer world as a career? what kind of schooling would be required? what are the job prospects for that field?

thank you so much for your input :)

Apple is best for artistic creativity, but stick with PC for gaming.

Have him learn ".NET" programming for the best future in industrial computer applications. That's because pretty soon most process equipment will be communicating to networks, cell networks, and control rooms via .NET technology.

Stay away from a career in game design unless he is a total wiz-kid. It's like a career in the NBA--you better be among the best.

Other programming that will land jobs is C++ and Java.
